Community Garden Market / 148 N. Washington St , Berkeley Springs, WV 25411 / 304.258.8300
Community Garden Market opened its doors in Berkeley Springs on October 5, 1999, just in time for our town’s famous Apple Butter Festival. Over seven years later, we have grown into a thriving market with a complete selection of natural and organic foods along with remedies, supplements, books, pet food and much more. Growing along with our community we pay attention to the needs and wants of our customers. We offer a place for friends and neighbors, students and teachers, to meet and network. We support local efforts in the schools and other organizations whenever possible. We are committed to providing our community with the best quality natural and organic foods and goods at reasonable prices.
Our business Takoma Soy, Inc. originated in Takoma Park, Md. We then moved to Hancock, MD in 1994, where the first store, Tonoloway Market, operated until moving to Berkeley Springs in 1999. Takoma Soy, Inc., now operating as Potomac Whole Foods, has a natural food wholesale distribution business in Big Pool, MD, just twenty miles from Berkeley Springs and Hagerstown, MD. Future plans for Potomac Whole Foods include an organic gardening center and all natural bakery.
